Digital revolutionaries celebrated by Fespa

Inca founder Bill Baxter, One Solution’s Marco Baio and Belgian artist Wim Telliers were the three winners of Fespa’s ‘Nominate a Revolutionary’ guitar giveaway during Fespa Digital 2009.

The viral campaign was to recognise industry colleagues who have produced ground-breaking work, ventured into new markets or embraced cutting edge technologies, or differentiated themselves with radical business models or services to their clients.

Marco Baio of One Solution, Belgium, was chosen for his revolutionary work in developing the One Solution Vega UV flatbed printer. Baio developed and brought the press to market independently.

Bill Baxter, founder of Inca in 2000 and who this year stepped down as CEO to become strategic technical advisor at Screen, was also honoured, alongside artist Wim Telliers, who created the first large-format art installation on the Antarctic continent in January 2009. Entitled Protect 7-7, the total size of the installation was 30,000m2.
