Fujifilm promises newcomer for Fespa 2010

Fujifilm is promising to show “a new system designed to standardise screen and inkjet production” at Fespa 2010 in June. The company, which for now is keeping details of the new system under wraps, will showcase its widest ever range of solutions for producing wide- and superwide-format print at the event, including the recently-launched Uvistar superwide-format printer. The Acuity Advance HS will be show for the first time in continental Europe and stand visitors will also get the chance to see the newest model Inca Onset series, the Onset S20.

Demonstrations of how printers can take advantage of the emerging market for clip-frame billboard banners printed on woven polyethylene (PE) and other superwide-format display graphics will be one of the applications shown on the stand.

For mid range versatility, the Spyder V will also be on show with the Uvijet Ultratone ink system. Completing the line-up is Fujifilm's euromedia brand, which provides a dedicated offering for wide-format printing.
