Amsterdam-based Fair-play has installed one of the new HP Scitex FB7500 printers for printing rigid substrates at speeds up to 500m2/hr.
Established in 1979 as an exhibition stand builder, the company took a decision to move graphic production in-house in 1998 when it installed its first roll-to-roll digital printer. Since 2003, when the company merged with Sketchline, it has developed a POS/POP business and added other HP digital printers including two HP Scitex FB6100s and an HP Scitex XP2700.
"Staying focused on the wide-format printing business has been one of the keys to our success," said Pieter Oorthuizen of Fair-play. "All our HP Scitex printers use UV-curable ink, giving excellent colour and good wear resistance, ideal for in-store POP/POS displays, signage, and for exhibition graphics.
"We are very excited about our new HP Scitex FB7500 printer. With this additional capacity we will be well placed to win jobs from large chain stores, helping migrate long runs from screen to digital production."
