Richard Beeson, Managing director, Vertical Vision

www.verticalvision.com

What’s having the greatest impact on your business at the moment?
The uncertainty in the economy. Do we take on more staff, invest in new equipment or wait another six months to see what happens after the General Election.

Where do you see the greatest wide-format opportunities?
Printed textiles. With the reducing costs of the printers and textiles you can achieve fantastic results that do not cost the earth.

What would make your day-to-day operations easier?
More space. The busier we get the smaller the factory becomes.

Your favourite bit of kit is...?
My Apple Mac. I'd be lost if l had to use a PC.

What’s the best bit of business advice you’ve been given?

Take every job one step at a time and don't rush it. You get no thanks for getting it wrong.

What are you most proud of achieving?

Still being in business after the last 18 months of economic nightmare.

What lesson does the wide-format sector need to learn?

Flexibility. You have to be able to deliver on time for the right price.
