Wendy Richards, MD, Displayways

www.displayways.co.uk

What’s having the greatest impact on your business at the moment?
The economy. Things have been pretty difficult over the last 18 months. We're still going strong and that's down to the loyalty of our clients and staff.

Where do you see the greatest wide-format opportunities?
The lastest generation flatbeds have materially lowered costs. This is opening up a wide range of new opportunities. The museum sector is particularly exciting for us.

What would make your day to day operations easier?

A 28hr day.

Your favourite bit of kit is..?
Definitely the Arizona 3m x 2.5 flatbed. The quality is absolutely astounding.

What’s the best bit of business advice you’ve been given?

Work in an industry that you enjoy, then you'll work really hard at it and become really good at it.

What are you most proud of achieving?

Creating Displayways. We've been around a long time now. We're renowned for providing great quality and service. Our clients put a lot of faith in us and completely trust us and I am very proud of that.

What lesson does the wide-format sector need to learn?
It's all about service and quality. That's what makes a difference
