Dimatix to show single-pass
prototype (25.02.08)
Inkjet print head developer Fujifilm Dimatix, best known for its Spectra
brand, will launch a new piezo head at the Drupa show that will be suited
to both scanning and single-pass printing. Dimatix says it will show
a prototype single-pass production inkjet press designed and built by
Dimatix Technology Integration group. This apparently uses the new head
technology.
Another demonstration of a precision laboratory development system
will demonstrate Dimatix' proprietary Shaped Piezo SiliconT MEMS technology,
including “its unique ability to jet a diverse range of functional
fluids for applications in and beyond print.”
Drupa will be the first appearance of Fujifilm Dimatix at a major trade
show since its acquisition in 2006.
