Morgana stand will have biggest-ever
digital finishing range (25.02.08)
UK-based Morgana Systems says its stand at Drupa will hold what MD
Quen Baum describes as the “largest-ever range of digital finishing
equipment brought together in one place.”
The company says it will introduced new, patented, UK-made products,
though it hasn’t revealed any details so far.
The equipment on display will vary from the simplest, entry-level creasing
products up to sophisticated, multi-tasking systems offering a range
of digital finishing capabilities in a single unit. Where relevant,
equipment will all be JDF compatible and variable data compliant.
At Drupa 2000, Morgana launched the AutoCreaser, a product that has
since become the world’s best-selling creaser. The latest version
will be at Drupa 2008. Folders specially designed for the on-demand
market – such as the DocuFold and Major – will also be on
show, together with guillotines, drills, perfect binding and presentation
binding equipment and booklet making equipment.
Morgana’s export sales have grown dramatically in recent years
and the company expects to welcome representatives from all its many
overseas dealers and distributors during the show. “We will be
showcasing everything that is best in digital finishing”, says
Baum, “and we are looking to Drupa to provide the impetus for
a further rapid expansion of our overseas dealer network.”
