Insite gets VDP makeover (29.01.08)

Kodak is extending the capability of its Unified Workflow System to encompass more variable data printing. New versions of the Kodak Insite Variable Data Print System Version 4.0 and Prinergy Digital Print System Version 5.0 will be seen at Drupa. These will handle the planning, creating, and executing of personalised, integrated marketing campaigns, Kodak says.

Insite is Kodak’s family of web-based print ordering and customer feedback software. It says the Insite Variable Data Print System works in a “plan-to-print” environment, meaning that customer sites can set up variable data jobs. It includes the Smart Review System, with a range of tools for collaborative reviewing and proofing of elements.
