Quark Showcases Products at Drupa at Stand A44, Hall 9 (07.05.08)

Quark Inc. has announced that attendees at drupa 2008 will have the opportunity to see live demonstrations of QuarkXPress, the company's award-winning design and page layout software and its with Quark Dynamic Publishing Solution (Quark DPS). In hall 7.0, Quark and Haymarket Media will showcase live production of the trade fair newspaper, drupa report daily, produced using Quark Publishing System 7 (QPS 7).

Throughout drupa 2008, the Quark theatre will host back-to-back presentations of QuarkXPress - alternating between English and German - and demonstrate the benefits of this award-winning software. Customers, partners, and the press are invited to visit the Quark stand throughout the event, and to enjoy complimentary drinks and snacks on the first day of the show that promises to be a special day. Quark product experts from around the world will be available to demonstrate the latest version of QuarkXPress and to showcase how Quark Dynamic Publishing Solution combines flexible layout with automated publishing to deliver rich communications across multiple channels. Visitors also can experience the latest publishing software in a one-on-one demonstration area on the Quark stand.

Customers visiting drupa 2008 focusing on trends in design, image processing and layout automation are invited to join drupa Highlight Tours, the official guided tour, available in several languages, which will lead prescheduled groups to the industry hot spots - including the Quark booth - at drupa 2008. The tours are organized by Deutscher Drucker magazine, FDI (the German printing industry's management association), and the Print and Media Technology Department of the University of Wuppertal. In conjunction with Messe Düsseldorf, the team behind the German journal "Druck & Medien" (published by a subsidiary of the Haymarket Group in the UK) will produce drupa report live using the QPS7 editorial workflow system with QuarkXPress 7 and QuarkCopyDesk 7.
