Epson aims to inspire creativity at Fespa Digital

'Inspired creativity' is Epson's theme for Fespa Digital in June 2010 where it will show its micropiezo inkjet technology producing display graphics for the signage, decorative art and interior design markets on a variety of flexible paper, plastic and textile materials.

InkTec Europe invests in its biggest ever presence at Sign and Digital 

InkTec has invested in an open plan exhibition stand for Sign UK 2010 to demonstrate its range of digital inks and media, including the new solvent ink which will be printing on a Mimaki JV33, and also Inktec’s best selling eco-solvent ink which will printing on a Roland machine.

See UV varnishing breakthrough at Ipex

Short-run printing of spot UV varnish over matt laminated film is being demonstrated at Ipex 2010 by Autobond via a process incorporating LED curing from Integration Technology (ITL). Autobond aims to show its new Mini 36 TPM-SUV sheet-fed laminator inkjet-print a spot UV, LED curable varnish inline on top of matt film - a move that Autobond claims could have implications ‘far beyond the laminating process’.

Hybrid to showcase Mimaki newcomers at Sign and Digital

Hybrid Services, Mimaki’s UK distributor, will use Sign and Digital UK 2010 (stand D10) to introduce new textile and UV-cure printers to the sign and graphics markets. Launching at the event is the TX400-1800 direct-to-textile printer which is expected to be of interest to anyone wanting to get involved in volume, water-based, direct-to-polyester or dye sublimated flags, point of sale and soft signage work. Also expect to see the new Mimaki UJF-3042, an A3 LED UV direct-to-product printer among Mimaki’s core line-up, including the JV33 and JV5, the JFX-1631 grand format LED UV cure printer and the Mimaki CJV30 combined printer/cutters.

GPT uses Sign and Digital to show off Mimaki and Shiraz latest

Graphic Printing Technologies (GPT) will use its stand at Sign and Digital UK in April to show-off the new Mimaki UJF-3042 A3 UV cure printer. The rest of the Mimaki range, including the UJV 160 roll-to-roll and flat sheet UV-curable printer with the CF1218 flatbed cutter, will also be on show. In action will be the Mimaki JV33, CG160FX II cutter and the CJV30 160 combination printer and cutter solution.
