McGowan’s announces major investments in machinery and infrastructure
McGowan’s has announced two new developments for the company incorporating the investment in a Scodix1200 UV Digital Embossing press and the opening of a new distribution and sales office in Northern Ireland.
Roland DG UK has announced the closure of its office in Dublin after a recent review of operations in Ireland. The move follows the appointment last year of two Dublin-based Premium Partners which Roland says now means that it no longer requires a Dublin based showroom to service the Irish market.
Dublin city based GP Digital has upgraded its large-format capability by investing in a HP Designjet L25500 latex printer. The new printer was bought to replace an older HP 8000 solvent machine and also to allow the company, which specialises in large-format indoor and outdoor display graphics and interior décor, to slowly expand into new market sectors.
Belfast based commercial printer Minprint has invested in a Mimaki JV33-160 outdoor durable printer and matching Mimaki CG-FXII cutting plotter. The company operates from a 12,000sq foot premises serving not only the Northern Irish market but customers throughout the UK. With a substantial litho print division at its core, Minprint’s product range has grown to offer a whole spectrum of short run digital and wide format work alongside its more usual output. The recent investment was taken to significantly increase the productivity in its wide-format operation and allow further expansion of the company’s product portfolio.
Print and Display announces two major capital investments
One of the country’s leading pioneers of POS, outdoor and other large-format digital print, Print and Display, has made two major investments, one in a 3.2m wide roll-to-roll HP Scitex LX850 latex printer which was installed in July and a Kongsberg i-XP24C cutting table which is due for delivery in late September.
