Transformational change has taken place within print businesses operating in the wide-format digital inkjet sector. Since Image Reports wasrelaunched as a wide-format specific title in 2008 many new and entrepreneurial companies have emerged, we’ve seen mergers, acquisitions and MBO’s aplenty, and we’ve witnessed widespread diversification.

In 2015 Image Reports wants to give proper recognition to those that have, and continue to drive forward the business development agenda, hence the launch of the ‘Leading Lights’ campaign to find the most inspirational and innovative large-format print chiefs.

Nominate your ‘Leading Light’

ImageReports is looking for you to nominate your ‘Leading Light’ candidate/s. You will find a ‘Leading Lights’ campaign entry form here: (link through).

You have until 31 October to make your nominations, at which point the editorial team will draw up a list of what it considers to be the ten most inspirational and innovative print business leaders. They will be notified of the recognition ahead of the ‘Leading Lights’ list being published in the December 2014 issue of the magazine and on the Image Reports website etc.

The editor will then interview the relevant people for a series of ‘Leading Lights’ features that will appear in Image Reports throughout 2015.

Who can be nominated?

Anyone with managerial/development remit at a UK/Ireland print business that has a wide-format digital inkjet capability is the simple answer. You can even nominate yourself if that description fits!

This is about finding those company chiefs that set the pace, that have vision, that are innovative in approach and inspirational to those around them.

Of course, those that are awarded the ‘Leading Light’ status will need to be willing and able to be interviewed by Image Reports and talk about their career and approach to business development - there’s no point spotlighting those that would rather not be recognised! But here at Image Reports we think it’s time that light was shone on those who are some of the country’s most capable and inspirational managers. Come out of the shadows wherever you are…
