Magenta Print and Display takes Inca Onset S20

POS and display graphics specialist Magenta Print and Display has installed an Inca Onset S20 from Fujifilm. Magenta - a trading name of Debenhams Retail - upgraded to an Onset S20 for improved production speeds and higher quality print.

“Our previous flatbed printer didn’t offer the reliability, quality and speed we require, so we decided to review other options on the market,” said Kevin Hanlon, display graphics print manager at Magenta. “The Onset S20 prints great graphics at high speed and has reduced our production times significantly. This means we have eliminated any print banding and other problems we used to have that resulted in unnecessary downtime and we’ve also lowered our running costs – the benefits of which we can pass on to our customers.”

The Inca Onset S20 prints up to310m2 per hour - viewable at normal POP viewing distances. It can print on substrates as thick as 5cm, and in addition to the CMYK configuration, the S20 also offers a choice of white, light cyan and light magenta inks.

“The quality achievable from the Onset S20 has had a noticeable impact on the vibrancy and overall visual impact of graphics in our windows and throughout our stores,” said Chris Tester, head of print production at Debenhams.

“We are really pleased with the results we’ve seen from the Inca Onset S20, and the support from Fujifilm has been just as good,” concluded Hanlon. “Downtime has been minimised thanks to the remote diagnostics and engineer support, and we’re delighted with the relationship we’ve developed with Fujifilm which has helped our business grow.”
