Printers’ carols at St Bride’s church

The annual Christmas Carol Service for printers will take place at 6pm on 11 December 2012 at St Bride’s Church on Fleet Street in London. The event will be hosted by the British Printing Industries Federation, The Newspaper Society, The Worshipful Company of Stationers and Newspaper Makers and the Trade Union Unite.

The congregation and St Bride’s choir will sing both traditional and modern versions of Christmas carols, and industry representatives will give a series of readings from the nativity story. Mince pies and mulled wine will be served afterwards.

This is the perfect opportunity to celebrate Christmas together as an industry by joining together in an event that holds a special place in the affection of many printers. Christopher Wren’s St Bride’s Church has been the spiritual home of printing for over 300 years and provides the ideal setting.
