Canon brings out new series Océ Arizona UV flatbed printers

Fespa 2013 will see the global launch of the Océ Arizona 600 series UV flatbed printers. There are four models in the range – the 640 GT, 640 XT, 660 GT and 660 XT – which replace the Océ Arizona 550 Series. The new series has six independent ink channels, allowing for two to run additional cyan and magenta inks (known as CM²) or cater for varnish or white ink. A Production-Squared print mode can be used to print at 46m2/hr, nearly 25% faster than ‘Production’ mode.

Océ Arizona 600 Series GT models feature the standard table size of 1.25 x 2.5m while the Océ Arizona 600 Series XT printers have extra large tables of 2.5 x 3.05m. Both versions can print on rigid media up to 50.8 mm thick. A roll media option is available for all models to print on flexible media up to 2.2 metres wide.

All printers are underpinned by Océ’s VariaDot imaging technology. Other features include: active pixel placement compensation; user selectable vacuum zones (six on GT models and seven on XT models); and batch mode operation.
