Carrick Signs buys into latex print production

Carrick Signs in Bury has bought a HP Latex 260 printer and plans to subsequently offer a range of custom wall coverings in the very near future.

The addition means that Carrick is also going to be able to offer a small selection of biodegradable outdoor banners etc., which is part of a plan to move Carrick Signs towards more environmentally responsible production.

Mandy Roscoe-Enion, a director of Carrick Signs, has had trial prints from the new printer on various substrates and said she is “extremely pleased with the quality and colour density of the prints on all materials tried”.

The company has already said it plans to follow up this investment with a 3.2m latex printer, given that a number of customers have already confirmed interest in sourcing latex print of this size.
