New Kodak media for solvent, latex and UV-curable inkjet printers

Kodak and Brand Management Group (BMG) have jointly developed a range of inkjet media for solvent, latex and UV-curable printers. BMG has a trademark licensing agreement for Kodak’s wide-format inkjet and professional inkjet media lines that it markets through a worldwide distribution network, Colourgen being BMG’s main distributor for the Kodak-branded wide-format media in the UK.

BMG has a trademark licensing agreement for Kodak’s wide-format inkjet and professional inkjet media lines that it markets through a worldwide distribution network. “Our goal was to give those who use solvent, latex or UV-curable printers the ability to better compete.  The new products maximise those inksets to ensure high-quality yet economical printing every time”, said CG Forker of BMG.

Kodak Canvas Satin (18m) and Matte (16m) in 30, 54, 60 and 64in widths are available immediately along with Kodak Backlit Film Glossy (8m) which is available in 36, 50 and 60in widths. Kodak Premium Photo Paper Satin and Glossy (10mil) in 36, 54 and 61in widths will be available in August.

“We are really pleased about the introduction of this range”, said Melanie Enser, product marketing manager at Colourgen.  “The Kodak brand is synonymous with quality and with such a legacy, you know that the Kodak range of wide-format media will bring you the same.  The products have been designed, qualified and manufactured to stringent performance and quality standards. Each must successfully complete a battery of more than 50 demanding tests to bear the Kodak name.  The introduction of this portfolio takes the Kodak brand to a wider audience and addresses the need of the sign-making industry specifically while still providing quality and economy”.

All products are available from Colourgen or authorised Colourgen Channel Partners.
