Following the purchase of the Ilford trademarks and associated assets by a partnership between Chugai Photo Chemical Co. of Tokyo and CR Kennedy of Melbourne, plans are being finalised for a worldwide re-launch of the Ilford inkjet media range.
Ilford Imaging Europe has been established as a joint venture between the two companies. It will market the new Ilford inkjet media range via Tetenal in the UK. Shipping is due to start late August.
The offering includes Ilford Gold Fibre Silk, Smooth Pearl, Smooth Gloss, Gold Mono Silk as well as Prestige Metallic Gloss and two canvas products.
