MTEX invitation to new UK showroom MTEX

MTEX Technologies is throwing open the doors to its new UK showroom in Moira (on the Derbyshire/Leicestershire border) on 14 - 16 October. The company will use the site as a training and demo centre showcasing the direct-to-textile digital printing technologies.

The showroom currently houses an MTEX 5032Pro and an MTEX 1800, and visitors will also be able to learn about the MTEX PAD, designed to pre-treat and coat materials, and the MTEX W&D washer and dryer.

MTEX has partnered with other suppliers to cover various aspects of digital textile printing at the three-day showroom grand opening event. They include:

- Design and pattern software from AVA Cadcam

- Fabrics from manufacturer Georg + Otto Friedrich from Digital Print Media (DPM)

- Flatbed cutters and software from Blackman and White

- Modular exhibition display systems from Tecna UK

- Fabric tension, lightbox systems and sewing solutions from DPI

Registered attendees will be entered into a draw to win a weekend for two in Porto, home of MTEX digital textile printers.

MTEX Technologies MD Stewart Bell said: “It’s a very exciting time to be involved with digital textile printing, and I’m delighted to be opening this facility for UK customers. By bringing together experts from across the industry at this event we hope to inspire sign and display makers, exhibition designers, retail specifiers, project managers, interior designers and brand managers with the potential that digital textile printing offers. The MTEX 5032Pro is a 3.2m wide direct-to-textile printer with integrated fixation, and that runs at 58m2/hr.

The MTEX 1800 is 1.8m wide and prints at up to 48m2/hr with a 2 litre bulk ink system for continuous printing. To register for the event go to http://mtex.eu/uk-opening/
