Augmented Reality report from InfoTrends

Now available from InfoTrends is a study ‘An Introduction to Augmented Reality’ based on interviews with six major players in the AR space as well as primary research previously conducted by InfoTrends on augmented reality adoption. Findings show that despite some of the barriers to adoption of augmented reality, it remains an important tool for any enterprise or marketer looking to make an impact with end users.

“According to our research on media trends in 2013, 41.5% of consumers interacted with augmented reality two to five times within the previous year,” said Arianna Valentini, senior research analyst for InfoTrends’ digital marketing and media service. “As hardware technology has advanced and mobile software has become more sophisticated, augmented reality now has its place in today’s consumer global marketplace.”
