York-based Screenprint and Display has rounded off a three-way spend with a Dyss X5 digital cutting table from AG/CAD. The company’s recent buy-out of online sticker specialist Edge Stickers was shortly followed by the arrival a Durst P10 flatbed printer, prompting the Dyss X5 spend.
Screenprint owner and managing director David Willis sees huge potential for both expansion and cross-selling opportunities to Edge’s UK customer base, and a that bringing the Edge operation within Screenprint and Display’s existing refurbished former mill building is a perfect fit.
“edgestickers.co.uk is a highly ranked website, and supplies a vast range of businesses through its online sales platform, and one that we saw we could streamline, and that could benefit from our huge existing digital and screenprinting capacity,” said Willis. “We can now also offer the larger clients more helpful, personal account management, rather than dealing with a faceless online company.”
