Yorkshire event presses home print partnership message

Around 90 people from the print, creative and digital industries attended a recent event in Leeds introduced by BPIF CEO Charles Jarrold with a message on how the print industry and creative and digital industries are thriving and working together as a cohort to evolve.

Patrick Collister, head of design at Google NACE, was the key speaker at the CDi Yorkshire event, held at the Digital Garage from Google located at the Leeds Dock. In his address he discussed his inspirations, the new rules of communication, how digital doesn't mean the end of print, and how marketing has been completely inverted in the last ten years.

Robert McClements, chief executive of CDi Yorkshire (Creative and Digital industries Yorkshire) concluded the event by the discussing the positive strides that have been made in the region to develop and support the ever growing print, creative and digital sectors.
