Callprint acquires Link 88

Callprint is continuing its rapid expansion with the acquisition of Leeds-based Link 88.The move follows its acquisition of Manchester-based PPS Print Communications in June.

Established for over 35 years, Link 88 operates from a 557m2 facility, and currently handles all kind of digital and screenprinting requirements. The six Link 88 staff will remain at the operation, which will continue to run uninterrupted as it is converted into a full Callprint site for which investment in both equipment and recruitment is planned. The conversion will be handled and overseen by Callprint’s Birmingham region sales director Fabian Porter, assisted by Manchester regional director Kayvon Dadfar.

Porter said of its acquisition: “Callprint has been looking to acquire in the region for some time, as we have a number of national accounts in the Leeds and Yorkshire region, and this provides a strategic facility for us in the north.”

He added: “We will also be looking to add to the staffing levels with the commencement of a recruiting campaign, as well as adding both small and wide-format facilities to the current service offerings. The Jupiter Visual Communications service will also be offered from this facility, and all of this will enable us (Callprint) to offer a full service solution to the regional clients, as well as supporting the other regional hubs as and when required with the additional
