Freddie Kienzler retires

Freddie Kienzler, deputy chairman of the BAPC and Formara chief, is retiring to Portugal after almost four and a half decades in the industry.

BAPC chairman Sidney Bobb said: “Freddie worked tirelessly on behalf of the BAPC and its members; he was never too preoccupied to help anyone in the industry. I will certainly miss our daily phone calls and more importantly his words of wisdom. A man of the highest integrity, he creates a gap which will be extremely difficult to fill.”

Kienzler is passing the business baton to his partner Phil Wilce who will now be the sole owner of £2m turnover Formara based in Southend.

Formara’s connection with the BAPC has not ended as Phil Wilce is an active member of the National Council.
