Celloglas strengthens POS offering with new recruit

Mirri, a division of Celloglas, has appointed a new business development manager in the shape of Mark Askham to help grow its POS involvement. He is currently working on a new range of products designed specifically to cater for POS projects.

Askham, who has over 15 years experience in the print industry, selling materials for Proctors and previously Robert Horne, said: “I have been aware of Mirri as a brand of metallic board for a long time, so the opportunity to bring these products direct to the screen print, litho and digital POS market is an exciting challenge.”

Mirri already has a range of products that can be produced for POS applications, and with a new range in the offing Askham will be visiting POS printers to understand their requirements. He added: “I am particularly excited about Mirri Eco Ag, a recyclable product that offers all the benefits of a Mirri quality finish, along with the environmental credentials more brands are demanding for POS projects”.
