Welcome to Widthwise 2009, a roadmap to the future for wide-format print in the UK and Ireland.

This is the second annual Widthwise research project to be undertaken by Image Reports, the intention of which was to establish the state of the marketplace and to provide an insight into how it’s likely to develop over the next two-to-five years. To do this Image Reports conducted a survey of printers in the wide-format space during the spring of 2009. The editorial team then digested the information provided and spoke to a variety of suppliers and various industry authorities to produce a report that not only delivers the findings from the survey but offers insight and comment as to what this all means for the future of our industry.

Almost 250 printers took the time to fill out the Widthwise survey and we thank all those who took part. Our thanks also go to the sponsors of this project.

Look out for follow-up coverage in the magazine and online, and especially for the Widthwise Round Table discussion on the findings which will take place in October and be reported upon in the December issue of the magazine. Click to make sure you get your copy.

The report is free to all registered readers of the magazine or website users so to get your copy please click on the link below to register then download the report.
If you have any feedback on Widthwise 2009, or have any comment/questions relating to the job of running a business in the digital wide-format print sector then Image Reports will be pleased to hear from you.
