What’s having the greatest impact on your business at the moment?

Fortuity and opportunity. Summer is usually quiet and when members of staff take their main holidays, but saying that, we have achieved double the projected turnover over the period. 

Where do you see the greatest wide-format opportunities?

We are currently going through an extensive rebrand and part of that is focusing on sector specific requirements. This allows us to generate new revenue streams whilst using our existing large-format printers. We are also researching new large-format equipment to allow for our increasing capacity levels with the key benefit to our customers of improved quality. In addition to this, to keep abreast of all new substrates that comes to market.

What would make your day-to-day operations easier?

Staff receiving more training for cross skills – this is a beacon on my radar

Your favourite bit of kit is...?

A newly installed Lumejet S200 – an ultra-high quality photonic digital printer What’s the best bit of business advice you’ve been given? To properly manage cashflow, one of the most critical components of any business.

What are you most proud of achieving?

Developing our own internal MIS system. Clicks’ management, staff and customers all benefit from this essential, user friendly business tool.

What lesson does the wide-format sector need to learn?

All trade equipment and media suppliers should support this industry more by sharing their recycling data; this process should be available to access at the beginning of the business relationship and not as an afterthought.
