Onlineprinters makes acquisition in Spain

Solopress parent Onlineprinters is continuing on its acquisition trail with the purchase of Copysell and its large-format production affiliate SombraCero, in Spain.

Copysell operates a production facility south of Madrid as well as five shops in the greater Madrid area. In 2011 Onlineprinters launched a Spanish webshop to enable customers to shop in their native language. "The Spanish country shop has developed strongly since then. The market in Spain still holds a lot of potential, which we will develop together with our new subsidiary for the benefit of the Onlineprinters Group. The Madrid site is the perfect location to assure the fast delivery of printed products to customers on the entire Iberian Peninsula and in Portugal," said Roland Keppler, CEO of Onlineprinters. Which recently completed SombraCero, Copysell founder and CEO Jose Rivero Baro, will continue to lead the company with Francisco Cembranos (CCO) and Alberto Fernandez (CFO). The Onlineprinters group - which apart from Solopress also owns LaserTryk in the UK - now employs more than 1,500 and has over 20 webshops available in 11 different languages.
