swissQprint adds orange and varnish options to Karibu

swissQprint has added orange and varnish options to its Karibu printer.

The orange can be used in combination with process colours or as a spot colour. Its colour values are essentially the same as Pantone 021 - a bright orange. The new orange complements standard ink sets for the Karibu roll-to-roll printer and the company’s LED flatbed printers. swissQprint has also developed a varnish for Karibu. Users can apply partial coats and optional multiple layers to create visual and tactile effects as well as apply it as an easy means of sealing the print and improve abrasion and scuff resistance. Like all other swissQprint colour channels, the orange and varnish channels can be retrofitted or re-equipped on existing LED printers.
