GMG releases ColorServer 5.2 and OpenColor 2.4

GMG has updated is ColorServer and OpenColor colour management products.
According to Peter Schoeffler, product manager responsible for ColorServer, “from now on, GMG is targeting conventional printing and digital printing with both CMYK and multicolour presses, and addressing customers who print cross-process using spot colours - primarily from the packaging industry." There are three ColorSrver options: GMG ColorServer Digital is aimed at large-format users and those working in the low-volume packaging sector; GMG ColorServer Conventional primarily ensures the efficient handling of third-party data - both in commercial printing and in CMYK packaging printing; GMG ColorServer Multicolor primarily addresses users in the packaging industry. All three ColorServer products contain the GMG OpenColor profiling technology. In addition to digital press profiling, GMG OpenColor also offers the X-Rite measuring device i1Pro 3 and the third generation scanning table i1iO - now supported in small aperture sizes so that test charts and patches can be measured. The GMG OpenColor RemoteClient is also new, enabling flexible access via a web browser.
