Vivid Laminating Technologies has introduced Boss Bloc film which - using a formula based around silver ion technology - is said to eliminate 99% of bacteria.
Within the Boss Bloc range, there is OPP film, available in matt and gloss, and a wide-format pressure-sensitive film in matt.
Manufactured in Europe, it is tested and verified by ISO, and Vivid said it has been proven to be effective against antibiotic-resistant bacteria such as Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA).
