Screen expands European service team

Tony Gill has been appointed regional service manager for Screen Europe’s customer support and service in the UK and Ireland, MEA, Spain, Portugal and France.
The company has also appointed a new service manager for Germany, Austria and Switzerland, where its print-on-demand (POD) business has quadrupled over the past three years. Mario Offermann takes up the post. Gill - who will now look after services from installation and training, hardware and software upgrades to preventative maintenance - joined Screen 20 years ago and, before being appointed in the new role, worked as Screen’s application team leader Europe. Steve Low, VP service and support, said: “Tony brings a unique combination of deep knowledge of our inkjet technology and excellent understanding of our customers’ requirements. He will have a crucial role in accommodating Screen’s growth, providing support and service to customers across Europe.” Of Offermann’s appointment he said: “With his excellent expertise and experience, Mario will be invaluable to our customers and us." Prior to Screen, Offermann worked as inkjet specialist at Agfa and as colour management and proofing expert at Koller AG in Switzerland. He will operate from Screen’s hub in Germany from where he will also support other markets, including the Benelux.
