The next event in the Sign and Digital Online series will be ‘Talking Textiles’ on 15 December.
The event - which will run 9.30am-1pm - will explore revenue opportunities for sign makers, PSPS and entrepreneurs looking to set up their own home business in textile printing. It will cover soft signage to garment apparel to interior decor and wallcoverings.
Phil Oakley of Kornit Digital, will focus on direct-to-garment printing. He’ll cover workflow requirements and generally how to make the chaotic more organised and the complex more simple.
Colin Gillman will talk to Colin Marsh, MD of Resolute DTG, to get his insight into the potential in the DTG market and how sign-makers can get involved. He will also interview Magnus Mighall, RA Smart, and discuss how easy is it to get into producing personalised apparel with a DTG printer.
Phil McMullin and Tom Owers, of Epson UK will talk about the growth in the market for personalised, high-quality garments and customised gifts.
The event will end with a talking heads session ‘Grow Your Business With Textile Print In The Decor And Furnishings Markets’, with Garry Brown, YPS and Beth Travers, BoBo1325.
A number of suppliers will showcase their latest offerings, including Zund, RA Smart, YPS, Trotec, The Magic Touch, and Epson (UK), who will have technical experts on-hand to answer any questions.
