The exposure gleaned by supplying over 4km of course branding for the Brighton Marathon last weekend has boosted order enquiries at Your Print Partner (YPP) according to CEO Stuart Maclaren.
The company supplied all the flags, banners, signage, floor graphics, gantry wraps and crew clothing for what is the UKs second largest marathon. It also helped to brand the events race village - a temporary area set up on the beach where runners would collect their race packs. With over 70,000 members of the public expected to pass through the event village, it had information points, marquees for sponsors and retailers, as well as hospitality facilities. Using creative branding solutions, foot traffic could be directed through the event village, which allowed the limited volunteer workforce to be used in other areas.
“In part thanks to the exposure from helping support Brighton Marathon weekend, we’ve now had more enquiries in the past two weeks than we had in the previous 12-months,” said Maclaren, who hopes the event signals a turnaround for print demand related to sports events
