Organisers of Sign and Digital UK (SDUK) have confirmed that 30+ contestants have signed-up for the Hexis UK Wrap Battle at the 2022 show, and further would-be competitors are being invited to take part.
After a three-year hiatus, the show will return to the NEC, Birmingham, on 22-24 March, where on the last day the ‘Best UK Installer 2022’ will be crowned.
Three heats and a semi-final will take place on the show floor each day where participants will compete in 10 minute contests. Daily winners progressing to the grand final on the show’s closing day. £5,500 worth of prizes are up for grabs.
Stuart Shenton, Hexis sales and marketing manager, said: “New Hexis materials will be introduced round-by-round to make each heat gradually more difficult for the contestants. The judges will score each contestant on accuracy of fitting, efficiency, quality of finish, health and safety at work, work ethic, and technique. May the best contestant win!”
