Callprint recruits new Jupiter team to spearhead growth

Callprint, which created standalone business Jupiter Visual Communications in June to focus on the management of large-scale projects in the live events, retail, sports, transport and property sectors, has appointed a new retail and commercial team to spearhead growth at the operation.

“The reaction from clients to the relaunch of this historic company name has been fantastic,” said Callprint director and investor, Ben Moss, who pointed out that Jupiter was originally founded in 1992 and sold to St Ives Plc in 2006 to become part of Service Graphics. The Jupiter brand was dropped in 2008.

The new Jupiter Visual Communications is based at CallPrint Saffron Hill in London, and uses all of the CallPrint group’s production facilities. Moss said he expects Jupiter to expand into Birmingham and Liverpool, then Dubai and New York.

The new team appointed to lead the charge includes Brian Judge, former sales director at C3 and more recently at McKenzie Clark, who becomes a business director. The same title is afforded Mark Haines, a key account director with Jupiter in its previous guise and who joins the new operation from Icon. Alex Davenport, who was also at the former Jupiter for 10 years, is now on board again and is joined by former Icon head of projects Scott Grant.

“Early 2015 we should see the team working at full capacity,” said Moss, who added: “Recruitment of further top level staff will be key in our expansion plans.
