CityDocs Solutions, an authorised reseller for brands such as Canon, Ricoh and Sharp, and digital print sister company CityDocs Ltd is building on its large-format capability by forming Willow Graphics. The new venture, which started trading in September, has its HQ in Willow Walk, London. That’s now home to the group’s first large-format UV flatbed, a Jetix KX7-D inkjet printer, and an eight strong sales and production team. Willow will also operate from what are existing CityDocs digital production facilities in London, Leeds and Manchester that already house HP and Canon large-format kit.
Peter Lawson, managing director of Willow Graphics, said: "Our intention with Willow Graphics is to expand our print services capability and offer a full solution to retail clients etc. We can print to any scale from Lego bricks to heights of 100mm and in a single piece up to 3 x 2.5m. We needed printing technology that could reliably produce high class prints with the upmost precision, and Jetrix KX7-D was the obvious choice as it can print on to pretty much any material or surface; all in incredible detail.
