When coupled with Caldera’s V11.1 colour control users of the Colorado 1640 can achieve smooth gradients and benefit from extended spot colour handling. The suite also has ink economy options. Caldera user Daniel Oschatz, CEO of German visual media company Oschatz Visuelle Medien, said of this duo: “As a Caldera V11 user we were delighted to experience the combination with our new Océ Colorado 1640 printer. We received the printer in mid-August and, in combination with V11, it is best for high-capacity production and stunning results. We are so happy that we ordered a second Océ Colorado 1640 printer.”
