McGowans adds to its Durst arsenal

Durst has supplied two more systems in a 850,000 Euro deal with long-standing customer McGowans, which is growing its presence in mainland Britain and further afield.
Mal McGowan, founder and MD of the Dublin-based company, said investment in a Durst Rho 512R Plus and a Durst Rho P10 160 are examples of Durst being “weapons of choice” in both roll-to-roll and flatbed technologies. “The quality is absolutely fantastic,” said McGowan. “I wouldn’t expect anything else. We already have had exceptional quality on our Durst machines, but this takes us on to yet another level. Our customers will certainly notice the difference and the investment will open up new opportunities for our business.” The latest investment takes McGowan’s Durst complement to five machines, the others being a Durst Rho 1330 fully automated machine, a Durst Rho 1312 three-quarter machine and a Durst Rho P10 3.2m roll-to-roll with white machine.
