BCF wins awards

For the second year running, the British Coatings Federation (BCF) has won Trade Association of the Year at the Trade Association Forum’s (TAF’s) 2018 Best Practice Awards. The BCF also picked up a win for ‘Publication of the Year’ for its Annual Handbook and in the ‘Good Governance’ category.
“BCF is a deserving winner of the ultimate accolade of Trade Association of the Year in 2018 for the second year running. A rare achievement as only once in the history of the TAF Best Practice Awards has this happened before,” said Linda Cavender chief executive of TAF. “BCF has a particularly inclusive nature and has had another fantastic year, punching above its weight representing its industry and a record year for membership growth. The organisation is supremely professional and is a shining example of a trade association that others should aspire to emulate.” Tom Bowtell, chief executive of the BCF, said: “2018 has been a huge upheaval for the BCF team, moving over 100 miles to a new office in Coventry, and recruiting a new back office team. We now have a wonderful new home for our members, and this award is the icing on the cake for another momentous year for the federation”.
