Carol Swift has officially taken over from industry stalwart Peter Kiddell as director of Fespa UK Association. Kiddell retired from the role at the end of August.
“Taking over the reins from Peter is no small task but I’m looking forward to the challenge. With a new look website, new members forum and a full planner of events for 2019 along with some great money saving member benefits, Fespa UK is hoping to expand its membership and provide guidance and support to more digital, screen wide-format printers, and suppliers around the UK, said Swift. “The new team at Fespa UK is looking forward to a busy future helping to support its members.”
Fespa UK Association currently has 30 printer members and over 50 supplier members. It’s next event - ‘The Future of Print: i4.0’ conference - takes place on 10 October in Coventry.
The 2019 diary at the present looks like this: 9 January - networking lunch, RMC Digital; 9 April - networking dinner, Birmingham; 10 April - textile conference, Birmingham; 14 - 17 May - Fespa Global Print Expo, Munich; 17 July - networking Lunch, venue TBA; 8 October - networking dinner, St George’s Park, Burton upon Trent; 9 October - corrugated board conference; colour management course - date and venue TBC.
