Senfa will launch a new version of its eco-friendly Alterra printable textile media and a new range of Decomind-branded interior decor substrates at SGIA Expo in the US, 18 - 20 October.
Alterra - winner of the SGIA Product of the Year 2017 award in the media/textile/framing system category - has been developed to incorporate fewer non-renewable resources. 100% of the Alterra material is now recycled from PET (polyethylene terephthalate) plastic bottles.
The fabric is woven using recycled fibres and then coated with Senfa’s smooth finish for use in backlit graphics with fire-retardancy certification.
The new Decomind brand has been developed for digitally printed interior decor applications. The range includes Deco Wall Sound, capable of absorbing sound reverberation in a room thanks to its acoustic coating.
