Antalis UK is to run more regional workshops for PSPs looking to expand their knowledge of new applications. The workshops, which have been running since September 2014, normally take place at the company’s Digital Academy, based at its headquarters in Coalville, Leicestershire, but the next round - in September and October - will be held in Leeds, Norwich and Dartford and focus on signmaking.

Lincoln-based textile print specialist Your Print Partner has expanded with the acquisition of The Flag Wizard.

The Big Display Company has launched a new online service that allows users to build their own plain label brochure of large-format printed products, including flags, banners, tablecloths and exhibition pop-up units. Users can add different products to create a custom brochure that can be downloaded as a PDF, ready to send direct to their own customers.

Service Graphics, the St Ives Group-owned large-format print operation, is installing three new Durst Rho P10 Series printers across its Chessington and Glasgow sites. Meanwhile, its Skelmersdale site will install a SM-375-TA multiple tool static bed cutting plotter in August. This will double the current laser cutting capacity on fabric and also allow the business to cut acrylics in-house.

Tetenal has been certificated as an Epson Authorised Service Centre and its technical support team is now able to offer support and repairs on Epson large-format printers and SureLab equipment. Dave Farr has joined the team as a field service engineer.

Signs Express has strengthened its central management team with David Kerr as national sales manager and Adam Davison as northern regional manager.

The international fashion retailer American Apparel first approached PressOn in 2006 when they opened their first store in Carnaby Street. They required bespoke retail graphics in short quantities for their UK brand, PVC banners for internal use. They also branded the external fascia and windows of the stores using acrylic signage and self-adhesive vinyl window graphics.

Two Label Academy master classes offer visitors to Labelexpo Europe 2015 the opportunity to gain the printing knowledge of renowned industry experts. The master classes - Digital Label and Package Printing and Conventional Label Printing Processes - will take place concurrently on 2 October, the show’s final day. Delegates can register for both on the show’s website now. Labelexpo Europe 2015 to be held at Brussels Expo in Belgium runs from 29 September to 2 October.

InPrint 2015 showcases all segments of functional, decorative and package printing in industrial production, including speciality, screen, digital, inkjet and 3D. The specialised show for industrial printing technologies takes place from 10 to 12 November 2015 at the Munich Trade Fair Centre. The entrance ticket will include entry to the specialised show with its comprehensive range of the latest printing technologies for manufacturing, as well as free entrance to the“Great Innovations Session” and to the co-located “productronica” show.

Version 10 of Caldera's flagship printer control suite has been upgraded for all current licence-holders, improving productivity markers, speed and language support for international users. Drivers have also been developed for a number of new printers and cutters.
