Sensient Technologies Corporation has reached an agreement to acquire the assets of Xennia Technology, the UK manufacturer of specialty inks used in digital printing.

Lutterworth-based Blink Print has bought an Agfa Anapurna M2050i 2.05m six-colour printer.

Over the past four years, since the company bought an Agfa Anapurna Mw, the business has almost doubled and now has a turnover approaching £1m.

Felix Schoeller is expanding its product portfolio to include sublimation papers. This represents a move into a new product segment for the specialty paper manufacturer, which has extensive development, product and technology expertise – including in papers for inkjet and electrophotographic imaging processes.

An expanded range of tools is available for the Kongsberg XN, V and XL series of digital finishing systems. These include:

- A Psaligraphy knife tool that cuts out the finest details in paper and folding carton.

All new Fastsigns stores will have a Kala Mistral 1650 with LED lights and antistatic wire in their starting franchise package. These will be supplied and installed by Kala's UK distributor, Colourgen.

At Fespa 2015 Drytac Europe will show its new Spot-On film with dot adhesive, alongside the expanded ranges of its ReTac permanently peelable films announced in March and Polar printable films announced in April.

Sabur Digital, the Barnsley-based digital textile and sublimation printing specialist, is to sell the Roland VersaCamm SP-i and VersaCamm VS-i ranges of eco-solvent wide-format printers.

Spandex has appointed Camiel Bosma to the dual roles of group vice president, and general manager, Netherlands, with immediate effect. He will be based at the Spandex Netherlands offices in Veenendaal.

Matan Digital Printers will use Fespa 2015 to introduce its Quantum 3.5m hybrid UV printer to the European market. It will also present its new 3.5m MatanFlex and QuantumFlex UV machines for fleet graphics applications.

Italian manufacturer NoeCha will present its large-format printer for the first time at an international exhibition at Fespa 2015. A new version of its NoeCha1 UV LED digital printer boasts a maximum speed of 600m2/hr.
