Cestrian has been recognised as one of the ‘1,000 Companies to Inspire Britain’ in a report by the London Stock Exchange and the Daily Telegraph. The report noted that, out of 4.5m SMEs in Britain, only a handful have continued to grow, outperform their peers, deliver results and generate job creation despite the economic downturn. Cestrian is one.

At Fespa 2013, Coloursonic, London, bought a HP Scitex FB500 printer to add white ink capability to its direct-to-rigid substrate printing capacity and accelerate graphics production. HP reseller CWE Solutions installed the printer in first week of July to meet the production requirements of a significant job.

Viscom continues to grow, attracting 13,277 visitors to the recent event in Dusseldorf. That’s a 9.7% increase on the 12,100 attending Viscom Frankfurt last year. With 350 participating companies, this year’s show also set a new exhibitor record, gaining 7% in the comparison with Viscom Frankfurt.

Contra Vision is one of 100 inventors and innovations represented in a ‘Travelling Museum of British Invention’ which is currently touring the UK to promote the key role played by British inventions in science and engineering. Contra Vision’s see-through technology, one of the British inventions highlighted, was also used to wrap parts of the museum bus.

Cardiff-based Genesis Marketing delivered full event branding for the recent Wales Rally GB Championships, the British leg of the World Rally Championships. The project was delivered on behalf of client International Motor Sports, which was pointed towards Genesis by the Welsh government, an event sponsor and regular client of the company.

Ricoh has confirmed its participation at InPrint next year as a founding and headline sponsor.

Hexacomb is making its Falconboard Print All White display board available in Europe. This white version of the company’s original Falconboard Print has a solid bleached sulphate white core and liner (the original version has a white clay-coated kraft liner and testliner paper core). It is available in 1220 x 2440 mm and 1400 x 3050 mm sizes, and thicknesses of 10 or 16 mm.

Version 8 of the ColorGate Rip software family is now available to all end users.
