Contract wins worth £1.5M prompts enhanced property acquisition

Leeds-based large format printer Digital Plus said it is on course to double turnover in three years and has bought new 975.5m2 (10,500sq.ft.) premises in Kirkstall to house the expanding business. The company said an upswing in orders over the last 12 months for display and exhibition work, and various plans for the future, have led the decision to move from its Bramley site.

HP comes to photographer’s aid

Photographer Chris Floyd recently looked to HP for help with his ‘One Hundred and Forty Characters’ project to reproduce his images as large-format portraits. Floyd worked with the HP Bracknell-based team which used the HP Designjet L25500 latex printer and HP Designjet Z6200 photo printer to output the prints.

Blink makes super sized art in the Netherlands

Blink Giant Media has worked with the UK-based visual artist Natasha Rosling to display a newly commissioned piece of art for Kunst aan de Schinkel, an outdoor art exhibition in Amsterdam.

HP expands latex printer range

HP has brought out two new latex Designjet printers, the 61in L26500 and the 104in L28500.  The 61in machine, which replaces the 60in L25500, costs £21,892 and is available as of now, while the £45,000 104in machine will be available from 20 January.
