Technical Engineer

Duties will include daily reporting to the Service Manager, supporting the pre and post sales of Elitron cutters and other equipment as necessary with installation, troubleshooting etc.

The ideal candidate will be well versed in:

• Servicing of digital wide format cutters
• Fault finding
• CAD Software
• Cut profile optimising
• PLC Programming and fault diagnosis.
• File conversion e.g from Artist CAD to pdf/EPS etc
• Customer training
• Machine installation
• Online diagnostics
• Customer facing roles

Atech engineers enjoy a high degree of autonomy, therefore someone who is used to working on their own intiative and using their own judgment will find a very supportive atmosphere at Atech.

This is a full time permanent position effectively taking care of our new and existing customers all over the UK and Eire. The successful candidate will spend time away so flexibility is a must.

Initial training will take place at the Elitron factory, Rimini, Italy. Ongoing training will be at the Atech HQ in Welwyn Garden City. All the usual company benefits. Competitive salary, phone, car or car allowance, expenses etc.
