Feelin' Good?

Have you got the feelgood factor for 2015? Plenty of largeformat PSPs have according to the conversations, the emails etc. coming through focusing on expansion, investment, acquisition etc. And data from the first Widthwise 2015 survey respondents is providing the same positive outlook. Meanwhile, for this issue, I interviewed a number of key PSPs for whom growth is a key objective. On p16 you can read an expanded version of the Talking Point video interview with Callprint MD Steve Cheek, discussing the rationale behind the group’s acquisition and growth plans in the sector. I also kick off a series of ‘Leading Lights’ features (p19) with a piece on Octink CEO Will Tyler and his strategies for business development.

You’ll notice other new additions to the content too, such as regular ‘What to Watch’ and ‘On the Radar’ slots. The first of these technically focused features will keep you ahead of the curve by investigating what R&D developments are underway, what impact moves such supplier acquisitions are likely to have on the market, and key considerations when it comes to buying decisions. The second of the new features will look at technical developments outside the mainstream boundaries of large-format digital inkjet, that nevertheless are likely to impact players in this sector.
