MTA turns to EFI for software solution

EFI Pace and Digital StoreFront software packages are helping London-based MTA Digital to streamline production on its printers, including its Vutek QS2000 wide-format printer.

The addition of Pace as a MIS system will enable the company to focus more closely on its management structure, while Digital StoreFront, an integrated Web-to-print software, is expected to attract new business.

MTA Digital is no stranger to MIS or Web-to-print but wanted to upgrade its existing systems to more cohesive software solutions designed to provide a fully integrated print management system, from on-line ordering through to automated management tasks. The company says that, thanks to EFI's Digital StoreFront, it can generate more income and establish a new customer base via the intuitive and user-friendly online service. Additionally, the installation of EFI Pace, which integrates with its Web-to-print capability, will simplify the control and scheduling of production data, reduce costs and improve customer service.

John Sinnott, managing director of MTA Digital, said: “We needed to implement an MIS system alongside a Web-to-print function that would bring us easier business management. Working with EFI gave us the benefit of dealing with a single service provider, giving us leading, compatible products and simplifying integration.”
