Jetrix KX5 gets official European launch

The Jetrix KX5-R 2.5m x 1.3m UV flatbed printer will be officially launched at Fespa 2013.

Like its little brother (the 1212), the Jetrix KX5 uses the next generation Konica Minolta 1024 (6 picolitre) printhead which offers speeds of up to 30m2/hr and a maximum print resolution of 1440dpi. There is also a multi-layer print function that enables the user to schedule print in layers instead of having to do multiple passes. It also features a brand new 2.2m wide roll-to-roll system.

The KX5 model uses new proprietary Jetrix UV ink formulated to give strong adhesion to many substrates, such as glass, acrylic and metal, without the need for a primer. This will be demonstrated on the stand during the show.

All the Jetrix printers are compatible with Rip software like Oynx, Caldera and Shiraz.
